Prof. Chomsky for Solidarity Peace Delegation to South Korea!
오는 7월 19일에서 23일 미국의 저명한 평화 활동가들님들이 성주/김천 소성리에 배치될 사드 반대및 한반도, 동북아시아 평화를 위해 지난 1년동안 너무나 힘든 투쟁을 해온 분들께 조금이라도 힘이 되고자 연대 방문을 합니다.
그분들을 격려하고자 우리 국제 평화 가족들이 서명운동을 하고 있습니다.
고맙게도 늘 한국의 정의, 인권, 평화 운동에 늘 앞장서서 지속적으로 지지해 주신 촘스키 교수님도 오늘 서명하셨다는 소식과 함께 여러분들의 도움을 진심으로 바랍니다.
촘스키 교수님께 제가 보낸 이메일에서 아래와 같이 다짐했습니다.
“절대 위협과 전쟁에 항복하지 않겠다.

사드는 한반도 문제가 아니라 미국의 문제입니다.

Here is one more—Professor Chomsky just signed on the petition that supports the peace delegation of our American and Korean-American sisters’ and brothers’ delegation to our beloved home in South Korea.
The purpose is to give much-needed solidarity to people in South Korea, especially people in Sosungri, Seongju and Gimcheon, who have led a truly historic and heroic peace movement that opposes the deployment of THAAD.

"Dear Professor Chomsky,
I hope that all is well with you. I am writing to you to see if you would kindly support our global movement to stop THAAD in South Korea. The due date is July 19th. I apologize for a last- minute request.
As you know, THAAD has nothing to do with security in the Korean peninsula but has everything to do with U.S. missile defense system that would trigger another new cold war.
Professor--this is my personal struggle as well. My family has one-hundred year-old orchard near the site of THAAD deployment. http://fpif.org/korean-women-take-trump/
