Traveling is always a heart-rending encounter with new things. In particular, the marathon trip, which runs at the speed of the heart, allows us to meet beautiful, rich and deep things that we can not meet if we drive by in a hurry. It is said that traveling depends on whom you are accompanying. Because I am alone across the continent and so I can accompany anyone, it is a trip that will have tremendous meaning.

Running through the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico, the impressive things are the red rocks that rise like mushrooms and are likely to spill out energy fields. A mysterious energy flowing from the red rock envelopes my whole body. A towering mountain in the middle of the desert, a fir forest that stretches out into the sky in the mountains...... The absolute exclusivity that kept other plants from taking root, other than fir trees, somehow made me feel bad, but in itself it was spectacular. Other creatures living in barren conditions are very thin and shabby, but crows are particularly fat and glossy and have black fur, and so at first they are thought to be eagles. Especially, the chubby rabbits with white furry hips are often seen in the desert. I don't know what they ate in the desert and gained weight. See desert foxes whose eyes are shiny. They know where there's a spring in the desert so that they'll wet their throats to survive when they're thirsty. I still don't know where my spring water is, so I'm running endlessly looking for it.

A couple of coyotes I encountered a few days ago on my way from Gallup to the Continental Divide produced a hair-raising situation that forced me to pull out a hand shovel. I've been running on a rough desert road all day long without seeing anyone, and a coyote comes out from under the sewers. Not one, but two. Ordinary wild animals sneak away when they meet people, but these guys face me and don't think about avoiding me. Their eyes carry a sense of grim. There is only one reason why the eyes of wild animals are so grim. Maybe there's a baby in the sewers. On the contrary, I had to take a back step by step. Wild animals run away when they meet people, but livestock come close when they see humans. But dogs, grow bloodstained and bark when even a small dog sees a stranger. In the countryside, dogs are usually let it go untied, and when several dogs rush at me in at once, I often get sweaty on my back.

There are some unexpected beautiful encounters on the trip that make my memories plentiful. I was wrong again this time and came back about 11 kilometers. It is easier to run on a national road than on the shoulder of a highway even if it is longer a little, and the view is good. So I run on a national road according to the Google Maps, but something is wrong. There is no one nearby to ask in the middle of the desert. A police car was pulling another car in front of me while I was walking away with my suspicious steps. When I approached and asked him, he said this road was blocked. When I asked which way to go, he answered the highway was the only one

It's good to run, so I run endlessly like this. However, I don¡¯t know why I get so angry when I run the wrong way and come back to the same way. I took my tired body back on the road, ran a long way, met a gas station, and went there to have a cup of coffee. Then a couple also talked while drinking coffee. They told me they had seen me running somewhere yesterday, and today they met me again on the way back home . They ask how far I run and where I started. They seem to wonder what's driving me to run. He then offered to drive me to Albuquerque. I replied that I couldn't accept it because it's deceiving me and people. They then asked me if I had a place to stay when I would passed there, so I said no, and they asked me to stay at their home for that night.

The steps on the way to the door that someone opened to me were lighter than ever. Because there will be a warm affection in it. Finally, I arrived at Albuquerque. Albuquerque is a city in the central part of New Mexico in the United States and is a relatively large city with a population of 400,000 located at the upstream of the Rio Grande River. Charlie and Chris welcomed me home as if I were their old friend. When they got a call that I was coming, they called Korean restaurants for me, but they were all closed because it was Sunday. I felt even more sorry when I saw their expression of regret. It was not because I did not eat Korean food, but because I could not see their expression that they would have felt rewarded by seeing me gobble up Korean food. Instead, while I unpacked my bag and took a shower, Charlie bought two large pizzas. Chris said she'd wash my laundry with a washing machine, but I refused and just washed some clothes with my hands.

Two pizzas and fruit and juice were on the table. Watching me eat deliciously, they keep telling me to eat more. I tried to find the best courtesy, but I found nothing more than a delicious eating. No one else probably knows how full and satisfied the heart is than eating Korean food. Finally, the pizza I ate today became the best pizza in the world. And the fried eggs and potatos that Charlie made himself in the morning also became the most delicious things in the world. Taste is extremely subjective, so it becomes a special taste if added with sincerity. After the meal, the three of us took a photo together, and I don't know what a precious photo it is because it could hold the couple's bright smile.

Chris asked me whether I sometimes wanted to give up because I was tired or worried or not. I flatly said ¡°no¡±. I don't know how much I enjoy this difficulty, how precious and valuable it is to go through this difficult process and sometimes to meet such a good relationship as you. Chris told me : ¡°The day I told you to get in my car, I wouldn't have invited you home if you get in my car as we asked. I wanted to meet you again, eat, and talk to you when I saw you in the midst of that difficult situation, not cheat, not compromise properly, and just get through it.

It is a precious and beautiful time to be invited to a stranger's house during a hard trip, eat together, drink tea and talk about what's inside. They say they will go back to their quiet hometown after retirement. Charlie teaches nursing and Chris works as a nurse. This city is much quieter than my city, but they say they will go to a quieter place . After meals, they sit side by side on the sofa and watch movies. I entered my bedroom they had arranged for me quietly. The bedroom was neat and tidy. I had a good sleep because my dream was clean, too. The warmth of genuine consideration permeated my body all night.

Charlie and Chris asked me to stay for a few more days and recover enough from my fatigue, but I couldn't. I didn't go out on the road to break the record, but I couldn't stay in one place long enough to be idyllic. I'm on my way to being an adventurer. I want to see something only when I do my best.

This trip has become a deep-seated tour of the United States with an endoscope to look inside the U.S. Someone talked like a joke. Audrey Hepburn looked beautiful on the outside, but looking inside, she was also filled with dirty things. To my surprise, however, I ran through the U.S. with my feet and looked into it, and I found that it was filled with beautiful people. Breaking the boundary between mine and yours a little makes the world richer and more beautiful. When we share our mind and materials, and communicate, then the flow of life is free. The desire to take all just because I won on a rock paper scissor¡¯s game is a constant source of endless danger and disaster. I think a society where everyone is the winner is possible if we give in a little.
