제1회 코리아데이 음식문화축제가 7월 30일 뉴욕 맨해튼의 허파 센트럴파크에서 5만명의 뉴요커와 국내외 관광객이 몰린 가운데 펼쳐졌다. 불고기 김치 잡채 떡볶이 파전 등 다양한 한국음식과 사물놀이 오고무 공연이 펼쳐졌고 외국인을 위한 장구배우기, 송편 빚기 등의 이벤트가 펼쳐졌다. 한 관광객이 공연한 무용수와 기념사진을 찍고 있다. <뉴욕=노정훈특파원 croh@newsroh.com>

The 1st Korea-day food culture festival took place at the Central Park in Manhattan on July 30. The day’s event was held among 50,000 New Yorkers and tourists from many different regions.
Various Korean foods including Bulgogi, kimchi, and Toppokki were served while Korean cultural performances and events such as ‘learning Jangu’, and ‘making Song-Pyun’ were held for foreigners to experience. A tourist is taking pictures starring dancers celebrate.
