The clear spring sunshine was pouring on the ever-greening fields. The Mississippi River, which flows to the western border of Tennessee, and the Tennessee River curving in U-shape through the Tennessee make the Tennessee more flourishing and greener. The dense forest provides a rich habitat for all kinds of animals and plants. This is how Mother Nature lives together for co-prosperity. Tennessee is said that half is a forest and the other half is a field. Half of the land in Tennesee is given to nature and the remaining halfis used by humans. Perhaps that's why the impression I got from Tennessee is that it's generous and peaceful.

The forest of April in Tennessee is full of romance and love. Therefore, the scent in the forest has a strong scent of playboys and women having an affair. All kinds of fragrance, such as the scent of pine when I pass through the pine groves, the fragrance of acacia when I pass under the acacia trees, surround all through me. I hear beautiful sounds like whistles sung by people in love. The sound of birdsong, blowing wind, and flowing stream sounds together like a Tennessee waltz. The wind that enters and comes out of the dense bamboo grove becomes a full-blown sound of a mandolin, and the sunshine that escapes between willow branches flutter on the road like an 18-year-old girl dancing in high heels for the first time in her new-fitting dress.

When I was looking for a restaurant in Selmer, I took the wrong way. and the lunch time was over, then I managed to find a pizza restaurant and ordered a big pizza with the thought that I would eat the remaining as dinner. Now I stuff my hungry stomachs, but the place to sleep is the problem. The weather forecast is for rain all week. In fact, it didn't rain every day, but still, finding a place to avoid the rain when it might come seemed like a big assignment every day.

My favorite place to sleep was an empty house, a vacant lot, sometimes an empty barn. I preferred an old empty house that had been deserted like a stray cat. This is because these places can avoid rain and wind and are safe from wild animals. When I saw a building that looked like this while I was running, I would look carefully. It's because I think it's an empty house wrongly I go into the house, I might be devastated. I didn't want to cause any misunderstanding and quarrel. There will not be many pawn shops and gun vendors without the reason that can be seen as I pass by. Gun shops stand out more than McDonald's. If the government put gun control in U.S, those all gun dealers will close down, so I think the resistance would be formidable even if there were more people killed in gun accidents than in the battlefield. Most of the cases, pawn shops and gun dealers work together, so the size is large. I just passed by unless I was 100% sure it was an empty house. My biggest concern and fear while traveling alone is the gun accident. The crime of trespassing must have nowhere to complain of injustice and unfair.

The lawn-cut house in the front yard was definitely a home for living, and even if the grass was thickly grown, the owner might be lazy and did not cut grass, so I had to check carefully. However, it is impossible to get closer and check. But if the house has a cobweb or a roof collapsed, it's definitely an empty house. A person's house doesn't have a cobweb or a roof crumbling. After a while of running, across from a high school, there was a tin roof with a direct farm stand. In the season when fruits are harvested, they seem to sell them on the direct plate here. There was a barbed wire around, but the entrance was not locked. I found the perfect place to sleep. Good luck! I took a seat, set up a tent, sat alone, and ate the rest of the pizza little by little.

The Tennessee River flows like a melody of country music. After crossing the Tennessee River, I found a motel right next to a museum in Savannah, a riverside resort city. My steps in the museum were a little limp. I¡¯m fine when I'm running, but I¡¯m not normal when I¡¯m walking because of the accumulated fatigue. A female employee approached me and said and so we talked :
¡°You're limping. Is there anything I can do for you?¡±
¡°Yes, thank you! It's just a muscle pain. I'm running a transcontinental marathon.¡±
¡°Really? You're amazing. Then can you go to the museum first and take a picture with me when you leave? Please!¡±
In the museum, I rediscovered the remains of the Indians living along this river and the appearance of the Civil War.The miss named Rachel thanked me for passing through the small city, Savannah, while there were many other roads. And she posted my story on her Facebook and wrote, "Please help him when you meet someone like this." She made me feel as if I were a great hero. The next day, on the way out of Savannah, there were a lot of honking noises from cars on the way to work and many pretty hands waving over car windows. My steps were exhilarated and light as if I were tap-dancing.

Rachel looks like Irene, whom I first dated when I came to America. Irene had a little red hair, while Rachel had a blonde hair, but they had blue eyes, high nose and similar dimples on both cheeks, too. At that time I thought I was practicing English rather than formally proposing, and said, "Are you free in the evening? Can you give me your phone number? " She put on a straight face and asked me, "Are you thinking of going out with me?" Then I said, "Yes," and then I fell in love with her after meeting several times with the desire of learning English. Back then, people looked at white women and Asian men dating hand in hand with the bad feeling even in New York. Running alone on the "Lightpath-MK" would bring me past things like a revolving lantern. The thoughts about her used to come and go like that. It is a beautiful piece of memory that is already 20 years old. While I am running in this way, there is no miserable memories that I cannot forget, no matter how much I try to erase. Only beautiful memories follow my trail like a puppy does so on the morning walk.

As I pass through the forest, I see a building that has been torn down in the forest, and I approach it with curiosity. It was an abandoned house with little remains of the house for a long time and turned back into a forest. Nature's resilience is truly great. It's also amazing that my leg has recovered from the injury. I only scrubbed with ice packs, but I got well in two weeks. The best doctor lives in the body. Because the body is part of nature, it is restored to its original state. Our body can heal itself from all illnesses. If we make it better condition for healing , we'll get back to where it was. In most cases, the body treats itself, not the doctors. The doctors just help the body heal.

As soon as human intervention is removed, nature comes and restores itself as if it were waiting. I hope the earth will become a win-win place where people live and nature is preserved. Seas and rivers are also said to have the ability to purify themselves. When we stop throwing away, and reduce the use of fossil fuels, then nature will soon clean itself. Therefore, there is no need to worry too much about global warming. It will be ok if we use much less fossil fuels than we do now. We can't go back to the primitive state, but we can cut back on spending.

A young Amish couple in black hats and black suits ride by in a carriage. When I ran with my camera and asked if I could take a picture with them, They flatly refused. They still live without electricity, telephones, TV, and cars. We can't live in the way like theirs, but I think we'll be safer with a little less spending and a little frugal living from now on the planet. Now I live more frugally than they do by running without electricity or using fossil fuels.

I feel as if my youth, which had died down, is springing up again while I¡¯m running through the forest road in Tennessee. Exercise speeds up our metabolism and quickens your heart's beat. Our heart gets full of joy when our body becomes warm. When our heart starts to feel good, good energy flows through our body, and our body becomes flexible. When the body becomes flexible, the mind becomes flexible, too. Flexible body and mind are advantageous in regaining youth. If people in their 50s and 60s humbly accept the increasing white hair and wrinkles on their foreheads and exercise properly, they can enjoy the blessings of youth again. Aging can't keep up with the speed of running. Fine wrinkles and gray hair can't be helped. There are things in the world that can't be helped, but there are only a few.
